Casella Waste Systems is seeking a Diesel Technician to maintain diesel equipment, perform inspections, and complete preventive maintenance to ensure safety and customer service standards. The role includes advancing through a Career Pathways Program with merit increases and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities include performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs under various weather conditions, and maintaining thorough records of all work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18+ years old with valid Driver's license (Class A/B/C).
• At least 1 year experience inspecting, troubleshooting and repairing trucks or stationary equipment.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in varied conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks and inspections in accordance with safety policies.
• Diagnose, repair, and service diesel equipment and vehicles.
• Operate and test drive vehicles to diagnose malfunctions.
• Maintain records of work performed and parts used.
• Assist in training and follow company policies and procedures.
