Job summary

M&K Truck Centers in Kahoka, MO is hiring Diesel Technicians / Truck Technicians to perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repair on diesel trucks. This Regular Full-Time INDIV CONTRIBUTOR role offers training and opportunities to grow within a busy service department. Ideal candidates have experience with heavy-duty trucks, basic tools, and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred; diesel tech training preferred but not required.
• Experience with diesel trucks or heavy equipment repair is valued.
• CDL is preferred but not required.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong work ethic are essential.
• Minimum 18 months diesel repair or mechanical experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a shop and collaborate with a team.
• Must own a basic set of tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair on diesel trucks (Mack, Volvo, and other makes).
• Complete preventative maintenance and inspections on heavy-duty trucks.
• Repair and service: brake systems, suspension, electrical, and emissions systems.
• Accurately document all repairs, parts, and labor.
• Work closely with service advisors and service managers.
• Deliver high-quality, efficient repairs while maintaining productivity.
• Provide excellent customer-focused service.
