Job summary

M&K Truck Centers is hiring Diesel Technicians to perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repair on new and late-model semi-trucks in Waukee, IA. The role welcomes candidates with diesel repair interest or experience and emphasizes safety, quality service, and teamwork.

Entry-level through experienced technicians are encouraged to apply. A strong work ethic and basic tools are required; CDL is a plus but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Diesel technician training or school is a plus but not required.
• Experience with semi-truck repair, fleet maintenance, or heavy equipment.
• CDL is preferred but not required.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair on diesel trucks.
• Complete preventative maintenance and inspections on heavy-duty trucks.
• Repair brake, suspension, electrical, and emissions systems.
• Document repairs, parts, and labor clearly.
• Collaborate with service advisors and managers to deliver quality work.
