Job summary

M&K Truck Centers in Kahoka, MO is hiring Diesel Technicians / Truck Technicians to perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repair on diesel trucks. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred; diesel tech training preferred but not required.
• Experience with diesel trucks or heavy equipment repair is valued.
• CDL is preferred but not required.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong work ethic are essential.
• Minimum 18 months diesel repair or mechanical experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a shop and collaborate with a team.
• Must own a basic set of tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair on diesel trucks (Mack, Volvo, and other makes).
• Complete preventative maintenance and inspections on heavy-duty trucks.
• Repair and service: brake systems, suspension, electrical, and emissions systems.
• Accurately document all repairs, parts, and labor.
• Work closely with service advisors and service managers.
• Deliver high-quality, efficient repairs while maintaining productivity.
• Provide excellent customer-focused service.

Salary Range: $22.50 To $45.50 Hourly

We are hiring Diesel Technicians / Truck Technicians to perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repair on new and late-model semi-trucks. This role is ideal for candidates with experience or interest in diesel engine repair, heavy-duty truck maintenance, and fleet service.

We are actively hiring at all experience levels, including:

• Entry-level / recent tech school graduates
• Mid-level technicians with hands-on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair on diesel trucks (Mack, Volvo, and other makes)
• Complete preventative maintenance and inspections on heavy-duty trucks
• Repair and service: Brake systems, suspension, electrical, and emissions systems
• Accurately document all repairs, parts, and labor

Qualifications

• CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) – preferred, not required

• Minimum 18 months diesel repair or mechanical experience (preferred, not required for entry-level roles)
• Ability to work in a shop environment and collaborate with a team
• Must own a basic set of tools
