M&K Truck Centers in Elk River, MN is hiring Diesel Technicians to perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on semi-trucks. Entry through senior levels welcome; CDL is a plus, but not required. You will work in a busy shop focused on high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Diesel technician school or technical training preferred but not required.
• Experience with semi-truck repair, fleet maintenance, or heavy equipment repair.
• CDL – preferred, not required.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong work ethic.
• Minimum 18 months diesel repair or mechanical experience.
• Must own a basic set of tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair on diesel trucks (Mack, Volvo, and other makes).
• Complete preventative maintenance and inspections on heavy-duty trucks.
• Repair and service: brake systems, suspension, electrical, and emissions systems.
• Accurately document all repairs, parts, and labor.
• Work closely with service advisors and service managers.
• Deliver high-quality, efficient repairs while maintaining productivity.
• Provide excellent customer-focused service.
