Job summary

Peterbilt of Atlanta, LLC is seeking a diesel truck technician. You will diagnose, visually inspect, and service trucks, removing parts and performing warranty repairs, maintenance, and repairs to lights and wiring. Welding, cutting, and related tasks may be required.

The role reports to the Service Manager, is a 40-hour week with overtime eligibility. A monthly bonus incentive based on upsales is offered for well-qualified, efficient applicants.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of diesel truck service and computer diagnostics experience.
• Able to operate power and hand tools safely.
• Good oral and written communication with customers and contacts.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and visually inspect diesel trucks.
• Remove parts and attachments as needed for service.
• Perform warranty repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Repair lights and wiring, weld, cut, and other repairs.
• Submit to background check and post-offer drug screen.
