Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Hernando, Mississippi is hiring a Mid-Level Diesel Technician. Earn $29 per hour with weekly pay and extensive benefits, including medical/dental/vision after 30 days and PTO from day one.

Schedule: Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 pm–6:30 am. Role includes safety training, 401(k) match, tuition reimbursement, and paid training. Veterans receive extra days off and stock discounts.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or Technical Certification, Post Secondary degree or Technical Certifications preferred.
• Basic tools, required.
• Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines incl. routine preventive maintenance.
• Two years or more of classroom training and work experience, preferred.
• Valid CDL Class A, preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance.
• Performs standard component inspections and repairs.
• Performs preventive maintenance.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computer.
• Identifies root cause of failures and performs repairs.
• Replaces defective components as instructed.
• Performs facility maintenance duties.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of the complaint.
• Uses Shop Management System and electronic documentation.
• Follows safety and DOT/MOT guidelines.
• Performs other support duties as required.
