Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a mid-level Diesel Technician in Hernando, Mississippi.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated aptitude and experience in repairing automotive gas/diesel engines.
• Routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, brakes and tires.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools to identify issues.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnoses mechanical/electronic problems using diagnostic equipment when applicable.
• Replaces defective components as instructed.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine the nature of the complaint.
• Adheres to safety and DOT/motor vehicle guidelines.
