Responsibilities:

1. Operate service truck on a daily basis.
2. Perform quality repairs and maintenance on all heavy trucks and diesel engines, following manufacturer procedures or accepted industry practices.
3. Accurately complete all paperwork, including work orders and information for inspections.
4. Adhere to all safety standards and regulations.
5. Perform repairs, maintenance, installations, replacements, and diagnostics for various makes and models of semi-trailers efficiently, accurately, and safely.

Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• At least 3 years of diesel repair and maintenance experience in a heavy truck or fleet dealership or shop environment.
• Factory trained certifications preferred.
• Experience with international manufacturers is preferred.
• Own tools to perform work on diesel systems.
• Knowledge of A/C, brake, emission, and air systems, and diesel engine diagnostics.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use diagnostic programs.
• Possess or be capable of obtaining a CDL license.
• Pass a drug test, background check, and MVR check.

Required Experience:

• Minimum 3 years as a Diesel Technician / Heavy Truck Trailer Mechanic.
• Experience with trailer mechanics.
• ASE electrical and air brake system certification preferred.
• CDL preferred.
• Welding certification is a plus.
