Job summary

Parks Truck Center in Charlotte, NC seeks experienced Medium/Heavy-Duty Technician to join our expanding team. Flat rate pay up to $50 per hour for experienced technicians. We offer a strong benefits package and a family-owned dealership environment.

Shop and mobile positions available, PTO Day One, and a 5-day work week with no weekend shifts. Join a growing team with Fleet work and extensive dealer support.

Qualifications

• Diesel Technician experience is required.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• ASE certification is preferred, not required.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Must pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR and drug screen.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose the cause of malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
• Notify the service advisor if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
• Road-test vehicles when required or refer to the test technician.
• Keep shop area neat, clean and account for dealership-owned tools.
• Follow all safety policies and dispose of hazardous waste per regulations.
