Job summary
Excel Truck Group in Statesville, NC is seeking experienced Diesel Mechanics to join our team. You will work on Freightliner and other major trucks, with industry-leading pay and comprehensive training.
Qualified candidates have hands-on diesel truck technician experience; certifications are a plus and can lead to higher wages. Completion of a diesel technician program is preferred. We offer a strong benefits package and opportunities for advancement.
Qualifications
- Experience as a diesel truck technician.
- Certifications are a plus and can increase wages.
- Experience with Freightliner, Mack, Sterling, Caterpillar, Detroit Diesel, and/or Cummins ideal but not required.
- Completion of a diesel technician school and certification desired.
Responsibilities
- Performs scheduled maintenance.
- Ideally certified to perform State Inspections and CDL.
- Prepares shop work orders on equipment repair.
- Computer experience required.
- Cleans shop and surrounding work areas.
- Promotes cooperation and teamwork.
- Willing to train and maintain certifications for ongoing technician training.
- Able to embrace our Elite Support & Safety Culture.
- Must have your own tools.
