Job summary

Excel Truck Group in Charlotte, NC is seeking skilled Diesel Mechanics to join our 1st and 2nd shift teams. Experience with Freightliner, Mack, Sterling, Cat, Detroit Diesel, and Cummins is ideal but not required; diesel technician schooling and certification are desired.

We offer industry leading pay ($55,000–$90,000+), plus a $400 monthly second shift differential, strong benefits, paid training, and opportunities for advancement in a family-owned, stable dealership with long-standing service

Qualifications

Experience as a diesel truck technician.
Certifications are a plus and can earn you an increase in wages.
Completion of a Diesel technician school and certification desired.

Responsibilities

Performs scheduled maintenance.
Ideally certified to perform State Inspections and CDL.
Prepares shop work orders for equipment repairs.
Cleans shop and surrounding work areas.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Promotes cooperation and teamwork.
Willing to train and maintain certifications necessary as ongoing technician training and development.
