Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 0-5 years of diesel mechanic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

1. Inspect and diagnose mechanical components of vehicles.
2. Overhaul and repair engines, transmissions, and other systems.
3. Install engines and components.
4. Perform preventative maintenance.
5. Complete technical reports and documentation.
6. Operate equipment to demonstrate functionality.
7. Replace worn or damaged parts.
8. Rewire electrical systems.
9. Align equipment or machinery.
10. Repair automotive or vehicle components.
11. Install vehicle parts or accessories.
12. Troubleshoot system problems.
13. Comply with safety and EPA regulations.
14. Complete work orders accurately and timely.
15. Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Diesel mechanic experience (0-5 years)
• Strong diagnostic skills
• Valid driver's license, CDL preferred
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Dependability and reliability
• Owning tools is a plus
