Occupational Summary

Utilize technical skills and judgment to maintain and improve operational equipment and facilities safely and efficiently. Troubleshooting skills are essential.

Accountabilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on electromechanical devices, machinery, HVAC, fixtures, and furnishings.
• Minimize downtime and impact on production, contribute to equipment improvements, and reduce capital expenditures.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve current or potential equipment issues.
• Assist in testing and evaluating raw materials and equipment.
• Train production and maintenance staff on equipment modifications and installations.
• Research manuals and drawings for parts procurement.
• Report on equipment condition and maintenance needs.
• Maintain machines for quality output and ensure a safe, clean work environment following GMP standards.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited apprenticeship or similar training.
• At least two years of related experience.
• Knowledge of electrical systems or willingness to undertake electrical training.

Physical Requirements

• Substantial walking and occasional ladder use.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and handle heavier loads.
