Job summary

Truckway Leasing, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Apprentice Diesel Mechanic in Columbus, OH. You’ll learn to repair and maintain Class 6–8 trucks, perform routine maintenance, and work with customers to keep fleets on the road.

Training is provided and you’ll use diagnostic software to tackle modern diesel problems. The role welcomes graduating seniors with a high school diploma or equivalent, and emphasizes attention to detail, self-motivation, and professionalism in a fast-paced shop

What You’ll Do

• Repair and maintain Class 6, 7, and 8 trucks and trailers, the big rigs
• Perform routine maintenance and learn the systems inside and out
• Work with customers and help keep their fleets on the road
• Use diagnostic software to track down problems, because modern diesel work is as much tech as muscle
