Job summary

Marden's is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician / Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. The role requires hands-on mechanical and diagnostic work, using computers and diagnostic tools to identify issues and perform quality repairs in the shop and in the field.

The ideal candidate has strong diesel knowledge, can read wiring diagrams, enjoys problem-solving, and can document service history.

Responsibilities

  • > Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain diesel-powered vehicles and equipment.
  • "> Use computerized diagnostic tools, scan tools, service software, wiring diagrams, and technical resources to accurately identify mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and electronic problems.

Position Summary

The skilledDiesel Technician / Mechaniccombines strong diagnostic and computer skills with hands‑on mechanical expertise. This position is ideal for a technician who enjoys troubleshooting complex equipment issues, using modern diagnostic technology, and performing quality repairs in the shop and in the field. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with bothcomputers and tools—using diagnostic software and technical information to identify problems, then applying practical mechanical skills to make the necessary repairs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ability to safely perform hands‑on mechanical work and operate required shop equipment.
