Job summary

SST Direct is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel-powered equipment and vehicles in Wisconsin. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues, replacing engines and components, inspecting equipment, and reading service manuals.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
• Strong diesel engine diagnostic and repair experience.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair heavy-duty equipment.
• Experience with preventative maintenance.
• Welding/fabrication experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Diesel Mechanic

Pay: $35–$45/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
