Bobcat of the Rockies - Our Sterling Branch is looking for a technician! Formal training is a plus but not required. Apply today to take your technician career to the next level!

Monday - Friday dayshift. No weekends!

$25-37/hour, based on experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality repair services on construction equipment in order to meet customer needs in a responsive, friendly, educated, and timely manner
  • Performs basic diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned construction equipment
  • Identifies problems with mechanical, hydraulic, diesel & electrical systems and executes solutions
  • Participates in Service Training programs for the development of skills and knowledge, and keep abreast of factory technical bulletins
  • Document all repairs and testing for customer and warranty repairs
  • Understand and meet standard of efficiency for repairs
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Service Supervisor and/or Management Team.

Qualifications

  • Positive outlook and excellent communication, both verbal and written
  • Excel in a high volume fast paced environment
  • Creative problem solver
  • Good computer and systems knowledge
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 2 year technical school graduate preferred.
  • 1-year fleet or dealership experience in a diesel shop is required; 3-5 years preferred.
  • Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and service team.
  • Must have an inventory of hand tools to facilitate the assigned repairs.
  • Heavy equipment and or agricultural experience is a plus.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen

Physical Requirements

  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate construction equipment.
  • Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 50-100 pounds and/or frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 20-50 pounds and/or continuous lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 10-20 pounds
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp or pull and lift objects. Occasionally required to sit, climb, and balance, kneel, stoop, crouch, and crawl
  • Consistently exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes, and loud noise.
