dnata is hiring a Fleet/Ground Service Equipment (GSE) A Mechanic/Diesel Mechanic at IAD Airport.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair gas and diesel engines, hydraulic, electric, and air brake systems.
  • Repair, recondition, and maintain equipment components.
  • Complete electronic work orders accurately.
  • Maintain equipment in a clean, safe, and operational condition.
  • Perform scheduled Preventative Maintenance Inspections (PMIs).
  • Read and interpret manufacturer manuals and schematics.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding equipment issues.
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Promote safety and adhere to company policies and standards.
Qualifications
  • Own and maintain personal tools, toolbox, and test equipment.
  • Valid driver’s license and necessary airport/FAA certifications.
  • 2-5 years of related experience or training.
  • Attention to detail and professional work ethic.
  • Knowledge of airport GSE and operations is a plus.
  • Certification in Air Brake adjustment.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting over 75 pounds.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends.
  • Ability to work safely with chemicals, dust, and noise.
