Benefits and Schedule

• Hourly Pay: $34.37 per hour
• Quarterly Bonus: Up to $500 four times per year
• Sign-On Bonus: $2,500 at 30 days and $2,500 at 90 days
• Toolbox/Tool Allowance
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, weekends off
• Hours: Second Shift 1:00 pm – 9:30 pm

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Vocational or technical certification preferred
• Basic tools required
• Experience in automotive gas or diesel engine repair, including preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and major repairs
• Four or more years of relevant experience preferred
• CDL Class A preferred
• All required certifications by location

Additional Requirements

• Ability to perform all T3 tasks
• Advanced mechanical repair skills
• Good interpersonal and computer skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Availability for shift work, weekends, and on-call duties
• Preferred ASE certifications
• Proficient operation of diagnostic tools and shop computers
• Minimum tool requirements
• Ability to road test vehicles
• Ability to coach and mentor others

Driving Requirements

• Must obtain CDL within 6 months of hire
• Pass Ryder drug test, DOT physical, road test, and background checks

Responsibilities

• Complete OEM training and courses
• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs, including preventive and complex repairs
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and internal/external documents
• Assist roadside breakdowns via remote triage
• Maintain shop and facility
• Interact with customers and drivers
• Mentor and coach other technicians
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
