Main Responsibilities
  • Ensuring vehicles are maintained and safe for customers
  • Using Penske’s tools and technologies for repairs, diagnostics, and logging
  • Performing preventative maintenance, including tire rotation, lubrication, electrical repairs, and cooling system maintenance on gas and diesel engines
  • Partnering with your manager for training and skill development
  • Completing other tasks as assigned

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical certification preferred
  • Basic mechanical aptitude; 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Problem-solving skills and comfort with tools
  • Customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team and outdoors
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to follow safety policies and regulations, including DOT and OSHA standards
  • Regular attendance is required
  • Position involves driving, requiring a current driver qualification file, DOT physical, and drug screening

This position is regulated by the DOT and requires alertness and safety responsibility. Physical demands include frequent movement, lifting up to 50lbs regularly and up to 100lbs occasionally, working at heights, and in all weather conditions.
