Benefits and Compensation

• Hourly Pay: $27.92 per hour
• Certification Bonus of $100 for each New ASE Certification Obtained up to $700
• Quarterly Bonus: Ryder Pays you up to $500 Every Quarter - Four Times Per Year
• Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday
• Hours: Second Shift Tuesday - Friday 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm, Saturday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Vocational or Technical Certification preferred
• Basic tools required
• Experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines
• 2+ years of related experience preferred
• Valid CDL CLASS A preferred

Must be able to obtain CDL within 6 months, pass drug tests, physical, road test, and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle maintenance and repair
• Standard component inspections and repairs
• Preventive maintenance
• Diagnose mechanical and electronic problems
• Identify root causes and perform repairs
• Replace defective components
• Facility maintenance duties
• Customer interaction for troubleshooting
• Utilize Shop Management System and documentation
• Follow all safety and compliance guidelines
• Support duties as required
