Job summary

You will perform DOT inspections, use diagnostic computers, replace assemblies, and validate repairs by test driving. A senior technician background and strong safety focus are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Certificate program/technical training in mechanics and truck repair preferred.
• 5+ years of professional diesel technician experience.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, logistics, math, and communication skills.
• Experience with diagnostic computers and knowledge of trailers and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and repairs on company vehicles and machines.
• Diagnose malfunctions using diagnostic equipment and wiring schematics; complete repairs.
• Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and performance.
• Diagnose and replace parts, valves, bearings, assemblies as needed.
• Provide guidance to team members and assist in repair planning and safety compliance.
