Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions Inc. in Dallas, TX is seeking a skilled Trailer Technician to join our team.

You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on trailers and equipment, including doors, floors, DOT inspections, wheel end services, and electrical diagnosis, ensuring safety and efficiency. This hourly role offers a Monday–Friday shift, a $5,000 sign-on bonus, and opportunities for professional growth through hands-on training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience as a trailer technician.
• Basic computer skills and ability to diagnose issues with diagnostic equipment.
• Knowledge of air brakes, hydraulics, electrical, and ABS systems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork in fast-paced environments.
• Valid driver's license and adherence to safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair issues on tractor-trailers.
• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers.
• Test equipment and systems for performance.
• Perform repairs to brakes, electrical systems, wheel end service, and panels.
• Document repairs and maintain records.
• Collaborate with team members and vendors.
• Adhere to safety policies and DOT requirements.
