Allegiance Trucks is seeking a Diesel Technician in Springfield, MA to perform troubleshooting, diagnostics and repairs on trucks and engines. You will install components, read repair orders and ensure safety standards.

The position offers a structured benefits package, incentive pay, and opportunities for professional growth. A valid driver’s license, tool set, and relevant certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years as a diesel technician.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must possess a full set of personal hand tools.
• Must have, or develop through training, knowledge of commercial truck repair.
• Completed diesel/auto certificate programs or equivalent hands-on experience.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical service on trucks including troubleshooting, electrical and diagnostic work.
• Read repair orders and perform general and detailed repairs of trucks, engines and components.
• Install injectors, pistons, liners, bearings, transmissions and other parts as needed.
• Inspect guards and safety devices and adjust as necessary.
• Lubricate moving parts and road-test repaired vehicles for conformance.
• Advise service staff on additional repair work required.
• Maintain a neat, safe work environment and handle tools properly.
• Follow safety procedures and seek assistance when needed.
