Allegiance Truck Centers is looking for a Diesel Technician in the Town of Hoosick, NY, responsible for providing technical service on vehicles and performing various repairs. Candidates should have experience with major truck brands and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Candidates should be motivated with a positive attitude and have mechanical aptitude.
• Must have 1-2 years minimum work experience as a Medium and/or Heavy Diesel Technician.
• Completion of diesel/automotive certificate programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical service on vehicles and equipment including troubleshooting.
• Read Repair Orders to perform repairs on trucks, engines, and components.
• Install key engine components such as injectors and pistons.

Skills

Experience with brands like International, Isuzu, Ford, Cummins

1-2 years work experience as a Medium and/or Heavy Diesel Technician

Valid driver's license

Full set of personal hand tools

Knowledge of commercial truck and engine repair

Completed diesel/automotive certificate programs

Basic computer skills

High School Diploma/GED
