Job summary

Penske Technician role based in Raleigh, NC, performing preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet. You will work with experienced supervisors and receive industry-certified training to grow your career.

Compensation includes a starting pay of 24.80 per hour with 2nd and 3rd shift differentials, plus strong benefits and opportunities for advancement in a stable, safety‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• The ability to solve problems and use basic tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure vehicle safety for customers.
• Use Penske tools/tech to log, research and complete repairs including diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as tire rotation and lubrication.
• Learn new skills through Penske technician training and coaching.
• Assist with other projects as assigned by supervisor.
