Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Penske Technician to perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs on a diverse fleet. You’ll learn Penske’s maintenance processes and use state‑of‑the‑art tools while training toward industry certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and outdoors.
• Willingness to comply with Penske safety and DOT/OSHA policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vehicles to ensure safety for customers.
• Use Penske tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as tire rotation and lubrication of components for gas and diesel engines.
• Collaborate with manager to learn new skills via Penske’s technician training and hands‑on coaching.
• Handle additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.
