Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver's license.
• The ability to solve problems and use tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and outdoors.
• DOT/OSHA safety compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Use Penske's tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance and basic component work.
• Learn new skills through Penske's technician training.
• Collaborate on other projects as assigned by supervisor.
