Penske Truck Leasing/Transportation Solutions is seeking a Technician II in West Columbia, SC to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet. You will work independently, mentor newer technicians, and grow your skills with Penske's maintenance processes.

You will use Penske tools and diagnostics, log findings, and complete tasks safely. The role offers a competitive salary with shift premiums and strong opportunities for career growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• 3 years of practical experience with vehicle maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Specialized training and experience in diagnosis/troubleshooting engines, transmissions, differentials; ASE 608/609 certifications preferred.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment and tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair vehicles and trailers to ensure safety and reliability.
• Perform preventive maintenance with little supervision and in a timely manner.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot engines, transmissions and other major components.
• Keep work area clean and safe; adhere to safety policies.
• Log repairs and use Penske tools/technologies for diagnostics.
