Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is hiring a Technician in Mebane, NC. You’ll perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet, using Penske’s tools and technology to diagnose and complete repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license and be able to pass DOT safety checks.

Responsibilities

• Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Use Penske tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
• Perform preventive maintenance such as tire rotation and lubrication; handle some electrical and cooling system maintenance on gas/diesel engines.
• Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training and hands-on coaching with your manager.
• Handle other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
