Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a technician in Midland, TX to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet. You will work with our tools to diagnose issues and keep vehicles safe and on the road.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• 1-2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to use tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure vehicles are safe for customers.
• Use Penske's tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as tire rotation and component lubrication on gas and diesel engines.
• Learn new skills through technician training and hands-on coaching.
• Contribute to other projects as assigned by supervisor.
