Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is hiring a Technician to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet. You will help customers keep vehicles on the road and learn their maintenance processes with industry-leading tools.

No day is the same—you’ll work with different equipment, receive training, and have opportunities for growth within a safety-focused environment. This on-site role requires a valid driver’s license and physical capability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to use Penske tools and technology.

Responsibilities

• Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Log, research and complete repairs using Penske tools and technologies, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance and some electrical system or cooling system work on gas and diesel engines.
• Learn new skills with technician training and hands-on coaching from management.
• Work on other projects as assigned by supervisor.
