Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license
• Excellent customer service & communication skills
• Ability to work well as part of a team and outside
• Must comply with Penske safety policies including DOT requirements

Responsibilities

• Maintain vehicles and ensure safety for customers
• Use Penske tools to log, research and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics
• Perform preventative maintenance and component lubrication on gas/diesel engines
• Assist manager in learning new skills through Penske training
• Contribute to other tasks as assigned by supervisor
