Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Ability to solve problems and use tools; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure vehicles are safe for customers.
• Use Penske tools to log, research and complete repairs including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance (tires, lubrication, basic electrical and cooling system work).
• Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training and coaching.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
