Penske in Pompano Beach is hiring a Technician to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet. You’ll work with the latest tooling and receive hands-on coaching from master technicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to solve problems and use tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Team player and able to work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Use Penske tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as tire rotation and lubrication on gas/diesel vehicles.
• Learn new skills via Penske’s technician training and hands-on coaching.
• Handle other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
