Penske Truck Leasing in South San Francisco is seeking a Technician II to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet. You’ll work independently on major and minor repairs, diagnose issues, and mentor newer technicians while expanding your skills.

Qualifications

• 3 years of practical experience with vehicle maintenance
• Willing to work in non-climate-controlled conditions
• DOT/OSHA safety policies adherence required

Responsibilities

• Maintain and insure vehicles are safe for customers
• Perform preventive maintenance with little supervision
• Repair and troubleshoot engines, transmissions, differentials, turbochargers, fuel system components
• Keep work area clean and safe
• Log, research and complete repairs using Penske tools
• Learn new skills through Penske technician training
• Work on additional projects as assigned by supervisor
