Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking an experienced Technician II in South San Francisco, CA. You’ll perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet, often working independently while mentoring others.

Qualifications

3 years of practical experience with vehicle maintenance
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
ASE Certification and 608/609 certifications preferred
Valid driver's license required
Must comply with DOT/OSHA safety policies and drug screening requirements
Ability to work in DOT-regulated, safety-sensitive role

Responsibilities

Ensuring vehicles are maintained and safe for customers
Performing preventive maintenance on trucks and trailers with limited supervision
Repairing and troubleshooting major components (engines, transmissions, differentials) and related systems
Keeping work area clean and safe
Using Penske tools to log, research, and complete repairs including diagnostics
Learning new skills through Penske's technician training
Working on additional projects as assigned by supervisor
