Job summary

FleetPride in Town of Bath, NY seeks a Technician II to master preventative maintenance, perform basic and advanced repairs, and diagnose vehicle system failures with limited supervision.

You will handle inspections, customer solutions, and routine maintenance while maintaining safety and productivity. Eligible candidates will have a Diesel Technology degree and hands-on experience with heavy trucks.

Qualifications

• Diesel technology degree or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of experience with class 7 & 8 trucks.
• Experience repairing 53’ trailers.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunction.
• Provide preventative maintenance solutions and repairs as needed.
• Maintain high productivity and prevent comebacks.
• Repair, reline, replace, and adjust brakes across systems.
• Test drive vehicles and diagnose using proper equipment.
• Troubleshoot suspension, electrical, exhaust, and steering systems.
