Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• ASE Certification and 608/609 certifications are preferred.
• Experience diagnosing/troubleshooting major components (engines, transmissions, differentials) or completion of OEM training courses.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to solve problems and communicate effectively.
• Willingness to travel within district and work schedule as assigned.
• Must comply with DOT/OSHA safety policies and Penske safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair vehicles to ensure safety and reliability.
• Perform preventive maintenance with minimal supervision.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot engines, transmissions, differentials, turbochargers, and fuel systems.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Log and research repairs using Penske tools and technologies.
• Learn new skills through Penske's technician training.
