Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a Technician II to perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of trucks and trailers. You will work independently on major and minor repairs, conduct road tests, and mentor newer technicians while growing your own skills through Penske training.

Expect a supportive team and modern shop tools to help you deliver top-quality service. You will handle preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on engines, transmissions, differentials, turbochargers and fuel

Qualifications

• Requires 3 years of practical vehicle maintenance experience
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational/technical certification preferred
• Specialized training in diagnosis/troubleshooting major components is a plus

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair vehicles to keep customers on the road
• Perform preventive maintenance with minimal supervision
• Repair engines, transmissions, differentials, turbochargers and fuel systems
• Keep work area safe and organized
• Use Penske tools to diagnose and log repairs
• Learn new skills through Penske training
• Collaborate with supervisor on other tasks
