Job summary

Penske is seeking an experienced Technician II to maintain and repair our fleet. You’ll perform preventive maintenance and diagnose issues on a variety of OEM equipment, working with modern tools and Penske training programs.

You’ll mentor newer technicians and contribute to a safe, efficient shop environment. You’ll join a team that values reliability, safety, and growth, with opportunities across shifts and dedicated support for professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience as a vehicle technician capable of major and minor repairs.
• Ability to diagnose problems through road tests.
• Willingness to mentor newer technicians and share knowledge.
• Willingness to learn Penske maintenance processes and technology.

Responsibilities

• Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for our customers.
• Performing preventive maintenance services on truck and trailer equipment with minimal supervision.
• Repairing and troubleshooting components such as engines, transmissions and differentials.
• Keeping the work area clean and safe.
• Using Penske’s tools to log, research and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
• Learning new skills through Penske’s technician training.
• Working on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
