Job summary

FleetPride, the nation’s largest distributor of heavy-duty parts, seeks a Technician II to perform preventive maintenance, basic and advanced repairs with limited supervision.

You will inspect vehicles, perform routine services, diagnose issues, and ensure work quality in a non-climate controlled shop environment.

Qualifications include a Diesel Technology Associates degree and 3+ years on Class 7 & 8 trucks; welding and airbrake certification are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diesel technology degree required.
• 3+ years of experience with Class 7 & 8 trucks.
• Experience repairing 53’ trailers.
• Welding and airbrake certification advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunction.
• Provide preventative maintenance solutions to customers.
• Maintain high productivity and prevent comebacks.
• Perform routine maintenance: oil changes, lubrication, filters.
