Penske Truck Leasing is seeking an experienced Technician II in Lubbock, TX. You will maintain and repair a diverse fleet, perform preventive maintenance, and diagnose issues with modern diagnostic tools. You’ll work with a team, log tasks, and continually learn through Penske’s training programs.

The role demands safe, efficient work in a dynamic shop environment. You will handling engines, transmissions, and other essential components, with a focus on reliability and customer service.

Qualifications

• 3 years of practical experience with vehicle maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational/technical certification preferred.
• Experience diagnosing/troubleshooting major components and ASE/608/609 certifications preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the district.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair vehicles to keep customers on the road.
• Perform preventive maintenance with minimal supervision.
• Repair engines, transmissions, differentials, turbochargers, and fuel systems.
• Log repairs using Penske tools and technologies and perform basic diagnostics.
• Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training and mentor others.
