Job summary

Penske Gulfport location is seeking an experienced Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment. You will serve as a lead technician, mentoring others while handling major and minor repairs and road tests to diagnose issues.

Qualifications

• 6 years of practical experience with truck and tractor-trailer maintenance.
• Vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting major components (engines, transmissions, differentials).
• Ability to use welding equipment, diagnostic tools and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair vehicles to ensure safety for customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance with minimal supervision in a timely manner.
• Repair engines, transmissions, differentials and related assemblies.
• Keep work area clean and safe while logging repairs with Penske tools.
• Learn Penske maintenance processes and participate in technician training.
• Collaborate on other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
