Qualifications
- Practical work experience in automotive/diesel maintenance and repair with diagnostic tools.
- Post-high school vocational or technical coursework in automotive/diesel mechanics.
- A degree in Automotive Diesel Mechanics is preferred; CDL within 90 days of hire if not already held.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of heavy-duty trucks and road construction equipment.
- Fabricate and repair equipment and parts using welding methods.
- Calibrate and inspect systems to ensure road readiness and safe operation.
- Install, troubleshoot, and replace mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
