E.W. Wylie Corporation, with a long history and a Fargo, ND headquarters, is seeking a Diesel Technician to maintain and repair Class 8 equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to ensure fleet reliability and safety.

The role requires strong mechanical skills, problem solving, and attention to detail, with a standard daytime on‑site schedule in Fargo. Join a team focused on safety, quality workmanship, and professional shop practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent in diesel/auto technology or related field.
• Four years of Class 8 heavy‑duty diesel maintenance/repair experience (minimum).
• Preferred: degree or certificate in diesel/auto technology or related field.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventative maintenance, oil changes, APU/service, heater service, filters, and other tasks as directed.
• Diagnose and repair advanced maintenance issues including CCV valves, clutch replacement, leaks, and other non‑internal engine repairs.
• Use diagnostic software and tools to identify mechanical and electrical issues on tractors.
• Support annual DOT inspections and pre/post‑service inspection processes.
• Maintain accurate repair orders, time tracking, service records, and parts usage in maintenance software.
• Keep shop clean and safe, participate in scheduled cleaning events, and support team leadership.
