Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Diesel Technician to diagnose and repair light mechanical issues, including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C and engine components. You will assist customers with roadside services and perform preventative maintenance.

Applicants should be able to lift 75+ pounds, work in varying temperatures, and rotate between day and night shifts. DOT medical card may be required and paid for by Love’s.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
• Assist customers with roadside services when needed.
• Provide preventative maintenance and basic diagnostics.

• Assist customers with roadside services

• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters

• Always put safety and satisfaction of customers first, complying with safety policies
• Work a rotating schedule between day and night as needed
• Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s)
