Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is hiring Diesel Technicians to operate in a fast-paced environment, serving customers and drivers along the way. You will troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, assist with roadside services, and perform preventative maintenance with safety as a priority.

Requirements include the ability to lift 75+ pounds, work in varying temperatures, and the potential to obtain a medical card through the DOT (paid by Love's).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Move and lift 75+ pounds in close quarters
• Work in various temperatures
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's)
