Love’s Travel Stops is seeking a Diesel Technician to diagnose and repair light mechanical issues, assist roadside services, and perform preventative maintenance. The role requires lifting 75+ pounds and working in varying temperatures.

Qualifications

• Experience in diesel or automotive repair preferred.
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.
• Ability to work day/night rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.
• Move, lift 75+ pounds in close quarters; work in various temperatures.
• Prioritize safety and customer satisfaction per company policies.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s).
